Establishment of Housing Reconstruction Awaran(HRA) Project

In 2014, the Government of Balochistan embarked on a pioneering housing initiative that revolutionized the way homes were built in the region. This project, known for its 'Owners Driven Mode,' introduced two distinct house designs, the Mud House and Block/Brick House. Notably, the seismic safe house design developed by NED UET earned accolades, including the Asia Civil Engineering Coordination Council (ACECC) Award in 2019.
